the monkey - still hanging around

It’s hard to see in this photo, but if you look just behind the cab of the ute, you will see the monkey from the very first livingrooms was tied to the back of this council ute, as a momento!

livingroom 1 = gone

when I arrived this morning, I saw the council garbage truck driving around the park, and a small yellowed patch of grass

still going strong!

Just to update, livingroom #1 is still standing strong, it has now been almost two weeks, and has officially survived two council cleanups of the park and heaps of rainy days! this morning it appears that the bed has been cordoned off with large council barriers, I’m not sure whether someone thinks the bed is dangerous, or they are trying to stop people from ‘touching the art’

jumping on the bed

these kids were having a good time today jumping on the bed, I think they were actually having a competition to see who could break it, but whatever. They also took away the badminton racket and were having a good time giving everything they could find a good whack on their way home…

tucking in the monkey

Probably the most amazing thing that has been happening, is that someone has actually been visiting the bed each night and tucking the monkey into the blanket placing the kids book in it’s arms.  Then each morning, the monkey gets out of the blankets and sits on the bed. awwww
